July Calendar

Calendar Raffle - July 1 until December 30

Calendar RaffleThe Saint Mary Choir will be running a Calendar Raffle from July 1 until December 30, with a drawing to be held every Sunday at 11:15 a.m. All proceeds benefit our Choir. The prize of $100 will be awarded to one lucky winner each week. Winning ticket numbers will then be placed back into the raffle, so each ticket holder is eligible to win again. The total prize money to be paid out is $2,700.

Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased after Mass, at the rectory office or from any choir member.  As always, St. Mary’s Choir thanks you for your continued support.  For questions or information, please call 732-735-3449.

Viking Danube River Cruise

Eight Days, Beginning July 14, 2019

Cruise ShipOur meeting on February 4th was greatly received. Viking is allowing us a certain number of cabins and, with many booking reservations at the meeting, rooms are going fast. So, if you are thinking about going, PLEASE send your $500 (per person) deposit in immediately.

Join us for an 8–day cruise (no hotel hopping) to Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary! Our previous trips have been very successful with making new friends, enjoying lots of laughter, plenty of partying and whatever else comes along with an awesome group of people. Any questions please do not hesitate to contact Virginia Ricablanca at 848-466-0234 or Betty Fitzgerald at 352-729-4615.

Help Needed!
Coupons for Food ~ Baby Products ~ Pet Products

Coupons are needed! Food, baby products and pet products coupons – we use these three types of coupons to support those serving in the military. You do not need to cut the coupons; you can just leave the sheets of coupons in the marked box in the church vestibule. Thank you in advance for your support.

A Note from St. Mary's Food Pantry

PantryThe Food Pantry appreciates all that you do for those in need. Just a reminder – please do not leave food on the rectory steps or porches. ALL food should be left in the back of the church or in St. Theresa's chapel. Also, please check expiration dates. We cannot distribute expired food and must throw it out. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance.

Teachers Aides Needed

We are in need of substitute teachers for our Religious Education Program.  Classes are Tuesdays, from 4:30 – 6 p.m. and Thursdays from 6:30 – 8 p.m.  If you can help out on either of those days, please call Kevin at 732-721-1514.

Altar Servers Needed

Altar ServersAltar Servers are needed for all Masses – we welcome students in grade 3 and up who have made their First Communion to become a server.  Three short training sessions take place before being scheduled and new servers are always paired with veterans while they are learning.  Anyone who is interested should contact the Director of Religious Education at or see any priest or deacon after Mass.

Greeters Anyone wishing to greet fellow parishioners and visitors as they enter the church, or hand out bulletins as they exit after Mass are encouraged to do so. Responding in a special way to Pope Francis' visit to the United States, we especially encourage families to take part in this activity as a group. There's
no commitment, and you never know how holding the door for someone or a kind "good morning" affects someone. Anyone who would like more information may call Pat Regan at 732-727-2768.
