St. Mary Youth Group

Mission Statement

Our Youth Group hopes to inspire and encourage our local teens to take on new leadership roles as adult members of the Church Community. Central to its mission is to aid young men and women to grow and deepen their understanding of their Faith and to appreciate the richness of tradition.

Youth Group Fundraiser - Thursday, March 8,2018

The St. Mary Youth Group will be holding a Benefit Night on Thursday, March 8
from 5 - T.G.I.F. 10 p.m., at T.G.I. Friday's on Rte. 9 North in Old Bridge. The parish community is invited to come together to have dinner with their friends and family that evening at 5:30 p.m. The Youth Group will receive 20% of each purchase that evening when you mention St. Mary Youth Group to the serve.


Youth Group Bake Sale - Marach 17/18, 2018

Our Youth Group will be holding their annual bake sale at all Masses the weekend ofYouth Group March 17/18. They will also be selling at the Saturday 9 a.m. St. Patrick's Day Parade Mass. We are asking those talented bakers of the parish to donate a homemade specialty to help support the group.


NJ Catholic Youth Rally - May 20, 2018

The N.J. Catholic Youth Rally will take place on Sunday, May 20 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. The day begins with an Opening Prayer Service at 9:30 a.m. and concludes with mass at 6 p.m hosted by the Diocese of Metuchen. The cost per person is $50.00 and includes admission to Great Adventure, free parking vouchers, a free ticket to "Holiday in the Park" for every person who enters the catering area, and a private all-you-can-eat buffet from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. Season Pass Holders must purchase a meal ticket to the all-you-can-eat buffet for $20. Our Youth Group is a great opportunity for young men and women to meet other teens and develop a sense of community while discussing prayer, scripture, and topics such as morals, ethics, bullying, drug abuse, and suicide prevention.

We offer a variety of community service projects, movie nights, game nights, and social outings such as bowling, roller skating, baseball games, picnics, and trips to Great Adventure.

Membership is open to any student in grades 7-11.
